De BOSS AB-2 is een 2-weg schakelaar voor het kiezen van een andere in- of uitgang zonder kabels uit te trekken (en dus zonder brom). Zo kun je tussen twee gitaren of effectketens heen en weer schakelen, afwisselend de ene en andere versterker kiezen of je signaal naar de tuner sturen, wanneer dat nodig blijkt. En omdat BOSS-pedalen altijd stevig ineen zitten, zal de AB-2 heel lang meegaan.
