Forget bass line, the Roland TB-303 Bassline Synth produced only fat bass lines! To do this retro scamp honor, Roland offers the TB-03. The TB-03 is a compact module version (without keyboard) associated with Roland Boutique line. Unlike the original version, the TB-03 LED display with up to 4 characters, making advanced program is a lot easier. The range of parameters, including tuning, cutoff, resonance, envelope mod, decay and accent, you control directly with the existing knobs. The base is still formed by a saw-tooth shape or a block, for the most thick-bass synthesizer sounds.
To give the waveform extra panache, the device is equipped with overdrive, delay and reverb effects. Besides the pitch and time-write modes, there is a new step mode added with convenient speed control. Roland has also thought of the connections, including a trigger input, MIDI in / out, USB port and CV / Gate terminal, to control all kinds of analog equipment, modular synths and DAWs. Despite the existing keys, the TB-03 is mainly 'played' by the built-in step sequencer. Are you a fan of retro-looking filthy bass lines? Roland TB-03 Bassline Boutique synthesizer module delivers!
