De BOSS HM-2 Heavy Metal, geproduceerd van 1983 tot 1991, is een ware legende in de geschiedenis van de distortionpedalen. Zijn kenmerkende "kettingzaagklank" met alle knoppen op maximum is dé bepalende voice van de Zweedse death metal. En de wat mildere kanten van zijn persoonlijkheid zijn te horen op diverse nummers: van mainstream tot shoegaze. Na jaren van verzoeken van hardcore HM-2 fans, is de iconische stompbox vandaag - drie decennia later - herboren in een speciale Waza Craft editie. De HM-2W levert de authentieke analoge sound van het origineel in al zijn glorie, gekoppeld aan veel moderne verfijningen voor verbeterde prestaties.
