Get familiar with the acoustics of the room where you will perform, before you even go there. Use the TD-17 module's built-in reverb and ambience to simulate the sound. This way you can acclimatize to the room, from the peace and comfort of your home. You can simulate the spaciousness of a room by adjusting the type and dimensions of the room. That ambience effect can be applied to any kit. And you can specify how much effect you add to each pad.

Create your own signature drum kit

Today's professional drummers create their signature drum sounds by layering different sound elements. For example, a unique snare sound is created by dividing the sound of different snare drums into layers: each with its own attack characteristics, spaciousness and so on. The TD-17 also lets you create your own signature drum kit, using its built-in tuning and damping controls, PAD EQ, 30 types of MULTI FX, and more.

Import samples and sound just like the record

At some gigs, you really need a specific sound. The TD-17 module allows you to import WAV files (44.1 kHz, 16 or 24-bit) of up to 295 seconds (mono) or 148 seconds (stereo) via an SD card. For example, you can trigger original single-shot drum samples, or introduce full audio phrases, sequences or vocals. Imported samples can even be mixed and layered with internal TD-17 sounds to create a powerful and complete drum sound that matches the real thing .
